You think you know someone…

I love finding out something new about someone. Some fact I think is little known, makes them more unique and special, and then I like to share it with people.

And so it was with great excitement that I called my dad after my visit to the Contemporary Jewish Museum of San Francisco to tell him the rags to riches, blitzkrieg to rock and roll impresario story of Bill Graham.

My dad knew.

It’s probably generational. He grew up during Bill Graham’s career peak, and I caught the final stretch. Still, it was fun to share what we knew about this truly incredible man’s story.
