Lying by omission is still lying.

Not taking action is an action.

“What we choose not to do matters,” wrote Seth Godin on his blog today.

Not standing up for someone.

Not standing up for yourself.

Not saying thank you.

Not saying, “it wasn’t my idea.”

This ups the pressure. And the ante.
