Atop Berkeley
December 5, 2011
Today was an adventure. My sweet boy nursed mid-hike as we sat in a field of hard grass in Tilden Park, in the hills overlooking all of Berkeley. The wind was blowing pretty good, so he was wrapped up. It made holding him under my privacy shield a bit of a challenge. Ever the champ, he had his meal and was sated for a few short hours.
What’s the craziest, funniest or oddest location you’ve nursed your baby?

Hmmm…with my oldest now four years old, I sort of forget, but I did feed once at the vet’s office while waiting for our dog to get seen by the doctor.
I think most of my experiences were less glamorous than yours — like in the parking lot at McDonalds in the back seat of m own car, dressing rooms at shops, nasty toilets in airports etc.

Funny. We specialized in the car in various Target parking lots at first. A cemetary feeding was our first unusual place.
