Hotel-Room Play

Playing in a hotel room with my not-quite-4-year-old niece. I’m getting ready to shower and am being silly throwing my clothes around the room. She has a finger on her belly button. [Important Note: She has a very special relationship with her belly button (aka button) and likes to hold it and stick her finger in it, especially when she’s tired.]

Little one: Take off your shirt!

Me: What?

LO:  Take off your shirt! I want to see your belly button.

Me: You don’t want to see my belly.

LO: YES I DO!

Me: No one wants to see my big belly.

LO:  I want to see your big belly! Show me your big belly! I want to see your big big belly! I want to see your big belly!

Kid's gonna give me a complex.
